CT Honoured To Be Part Of 2016 BAFTAs
25 February, 2016
The British tradition returned, once again, to the Royal Opera House, for this year's EE British Academy Film Awards.
Each year, the EE British Academy Film Awards is a calendar-must for those within the film industry and the public at home with the ceremony honouring those who have excelled in their field. It’s a British institution and one that Creative Technology (CT) is proud to be a part of, supplying video solutions to the BAFTA team and Whizz Kid Entertainment.
On Sunday 14th February, London’s Royal Opera House opened its doors to the film world for the EE British Academy Film Awards. CT provided projection systems, including a projection screen and a Panasonic projector to help create the award ceremony’s backdrop.
Furthermore, 65-inch relay screens were also installed in the Royal Opera House’s auditorium so that none of the action was missed; this included a live feed to backstage screens, the press rooms and offices. For front of house, CT supplied the necessary autocue screens so that Stephen Fry was a successful host as always.
The House of Fraser British Academy Television Awards, the BAFTA ceremony that rewards the very best in television broadcast on British screens in 2015, will be held later this year on 8th May 2016.
