CT Helps Tell Story Of Sussex With Beautiful Projection
CT tell the history of Britain with the help of a modern technological twist.
Festival 21, a celebration of all things Sussex in aid of Friend of Sussex Hospices, took place earlier this month on the 3rd September in Hurstpierpoint. A day of family fun with all proceeds going towards the Sussex non-profit organization ended with an incredible projection upon Elizabethan mansion, the Danny House.
Creative Technology (CT) provided Panasonic 21K projectors to help bring Creative Director, Bob Mayston’s creative vision to life. The projectors were split into pairs with each placed into either a portrait or landscape position to fit the dimensions of the Grade I Elizabethan mansion.
The content, which took Mayston many weeks to complete, depicted the decorated history of Sussex, including such figures such as Henry VIII, Elizabeth I and even The Beatles. The projection took advantage of a Datapath x4 to support image-overlapping, and dimension-editing to create a seamless and complete image across the building.
The Friend of Sussex Hospices group supports hospices and those in need of care across the county by raising funds through events such as Festival 21 and others throughout the year.
