Assistant Services Scheduler

We currently have a vacancy for an Assistant Services Scheduler within CT Ireland. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of planning, scheduling and communication of workflow logistics amongst CT Ireland’s staff and external contractors.

Description

General duties will involve liaising with the Production Managers and working within the scheduling team, under the direction of the Scheduling Manager, to review and plan resource allocation for both the main office and remote sites.

  • Administration

Using CT’s booking and inventory management system R2 to review scheduled activities and communicate with our crew and suppliers.

Use of general software tools to aid planning and communication such as Word, Excel, Outlook and other software as required.

Provide scheduling and planning assistance to the Production Managers.

  • Labour Management

Sourcing and co-ordination of labour resources.

Creation and updating of rolling weekly working rosters.

Supervision of timesheet compliance.

Communication with in-house and contractor contacts.

  • Logistics

Liaison with warehouse operations.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have, scheduler/planner experience (1-2+years), excellent attention to detail, customer focused mentality, strong communication and IT system skills, enjoys working in a dynamic and live environment; must be able to work under pressure to weekly deadlines.

Drafting Technician

We currently have a job vacancy for a Drafting Technician. As a Drafting Technician in CT Ireland, you will be responsible for the creation of Audio Visual and Broadcast system drawings. These drawings will encompass, System block diagrams, Electronic and Power wiring diagrams, RCPs, Floorplans and all setting out drawings.

In some instances Provide AutoCAD 3d Virtual Walkthrough.

You will be required to research AV product information as needed for drawing preparation and incorporate AV construction-related details into existing architectural drawings.

You will be required to liaise with the CT engineers and Sales team in order to help complete the design scope.

You will also be required to liaise with the client to get approval etc.

You will be required to keep up to date with latest technology and theories concerning AV systems integration.

Requirements

3 years AutoCAD 2D and 3D experience.

MS Office Suite.

A Diploma / Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

3D modelling experience beneficial, but not essential. You must also have ability to read and understand architectural drawings, electrical drawings, and related material. CTS certification preferred, but not required. Practical experience in working on AV/Broadcast builds as well as a valid driver’s license is also required.
