CT Middle East appoints Sales Director, Mike Walker

Mike Walker has joined Creative Technology Middle East as a highly skilled and experienced sales and marketing specialist in the AV industry with senior roles at international manufacturers and rental companies.

His career in the entertainment technology industry began with Creative Technology (CT) London joining as the company’s first business development manager and moving on to running the presentation and 3D graphics facility in Soho and then leading the combined Screenco and CT sales team as Sales Director.

After 14 years with CT, Mike spent 2 years as a freelance video consultant for major UK productions including the SKY TV HD launch and the historic Led Zeppelin concert at London’s 02 Arena.

In 2010 Mike joined Martin Professional Lighting heading up their UK operation and moved on to a senior role with Harman Professional after they acquired the business adding Martin to their extensive portfolio of world class brands including Soundcraft, Studer, JBL, AKG and AMX. With responsibility for the sales team across the EMEA region, Mike visited the Middle East frequently and saw the huge potential in the regions developing markets.

An opportunity to join a Dubai rental company presented itself and Mike spent 12 months building their sales and marketing capability before joining CTME in September as Sales Director with responsibility for developing marketing and business growth across the UAE, Qatar and KSA facilities.
