Expanding operations in the UK, Spain & the Middle East
11 November, 2016
Reflecting increasing business demand, CT is rapidly expanding its operations in the UK, Spain and the Middle East.
Three of CT’s EME operations have relocated to new and larger premises, offering refreshed working environments and providing enhanced technical, programming and warehouse facilities. All moves stem from CT’s growth and productivity in these regions and allow CT to broaden its service offerings, expand equipment inventories and enhance overall client interaction
In the UK, CT have moved their primary office to a new building, bringing both audio and visual production management and business development teams back together. The original building now houses the ever-expanding Integrated Networks, Media Solutions and Video divisions and the extra room will enable them to develop the space to include exciting new demo/programming spaces alongside expanded client facilities. The Wireless Works business will also move into this area when the company is fully merged with the Integrated Networks department early in the new year.
Mark Elliott, MD of CT’s London operation comments: “The warehouse space over the two sites accommodates fantastic kit prep and maintenance areas as well as a rapidly expanding inventory. Bringing the Audio division back into the same building has been an excellent move enabling the audio and the visual sections to work cohesively together again while the extra space for the Wireless Works and Integrated Networks guys will provide an incredible creative working environment!”
Barcelona has become Europe’s top convention and exhibition destination, hosting numerous major congresses and symposiums. CT’s expanded Barcelona operation now has a dedicated client office facility providing the perfect working space for client and production companies to work whilst in town. With significantly increased storage and warehouse space, CT’s Barcelona operation enables CT to turn around even bigger shows to complement the expansion of the event industry in Spain.
Fred Mouffe, MD of CT’s Spanish business remarks: “The exhibitions industry in Spain, and in particular Barcelona, has advanced tremendously in recent years. We are delighted to be moving into larger premises to meet the demands of this market and to provide our customers with the amenities required in the ideal location.”
CT has had an operation in Dubai since 2005 and over the past few years the Company has expanded its service offering in this area to become one of the region’s leading suppliers of specialist AV equipment. CT’s new premises have now bolstered the operation, providing them with an additional 3,700sqft of space and featuring a dedicated kit and preparation area, specific space for media, comms and installations and the ability to offer client demonstrations as and when required. The Dubai office is also planning to extend both inventory and services over the next few months creating an even wider business offering.
Andrew Reardon, CT’s MD Middle East, observes: “The Dubai market is flourishing in the corporate and entertainment sectors of the live events industry and CT is in the perfect position to develop our customer base even further by specifically catering for our clients’ requirements. Our extra office space and additional client meeting rooms will also enable us to house increased projects, sales and operational teams, all of which are needed to support the expanded services on offer to our region’s clients.”

Dave Crump, CEO of CT Europe and Middle East, concludes: "With CT’s global operations going from strength to strength, these recent moves underline our ongoing commitment to the businesses and the need to provide our people with the right environment to grow. While it is coincidental that three of our operations have moved in the same month, the fact that we could undertake these moves during arguably the busiest month of the year for CT, is a credit to our management and operational teams. We look forward to welcoming friends and clients, old and new to our new facilities.”
