Oslo Energy Forum 2023

Tuesday the 14th of February, Oslo Energy Forum once again held their three day event, which takes place in February every year. OEF’s goal is to invite key actors and decision makers in the global energy industry to an open dialogue where they can share insight regarding trends and development affecting our energy system. This year, the event’s fiftieth year, the theme was Energy Transition in the new risk reality.

The event started in the banquet hall of Oslo City Hall, with conversations around exciting and important themes, with speakers such as Norway’s prime minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Deputy Secretary General of the UN, Amina Mohammed and co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and founder of Breakthrough Energy, Bill Gates. The rest of the day was packed with panels and speakers, with it all ending with a dinner in the mirror hall of Grand Hotel.

Day two, Wednesday the 15th of February, took place in the banquet hall of the Munch Museum with, among others, President, and CEO of Equinor, Anders Opedal, Upstream Director of Shell, Zoe Yujnovich, President, and CEO of Norsk Hydro, Hilde Merete Aasheim and CEO of RWE, Markus Krebber. Once again, the day ended with dinner in the mirror hall of Grand Hotel. 

And finally, the last day of Oslo Energy Forum, Thursday the 16th of February, took place in the Rokokko Hall of Grand Hotel. 

At Oslo City Hall, Creative Technology Norway delivered full audio production including two technicians, as well as front lights environmental lighting and one lighting technician. Our AV department delivered video playout equpment, including equipment for digital attendees, as well as infrastructure for the press room. In addition to this, we delivered two 70” screens and one 98” screen for the main stage – the main stage being built by our stage department. This same production, except the stage, was also utilized at Grand Hotel.

At the Munch Museum we delivered a Midas HD96 audio mixer and axient wireless, as well as design for scenography, lighting and stage. Our AV department delivered a 5,4x3m LED-screen, as well as video playout equipment.
