Creative Technology Announce Changes to UK Team

Live events have been hit hard by the global Coronavirus pandemic, and while Creative Technology (CT) UK has found themselves in a more fortunate situation than most with an already strong position in the industry and incredible backing from parent company, NEP Group, we have not been exempt from having to make both a number of difficult decisions as well as some timely changes to our UK team over the last few months.

These changes will allow us to continue developing and adapting our solutions to suit the current market whilst continuing to provide our clients with the same unrivalled service we are best known for.

As with many companies that have been so heavily affected by Covid-19, we have regrettably been forced to make several redundancies across our business. Those of you that have worked with us over the years will know how tough this process will have been for us as a company and we are all saddened to say goodbye to some incredibly talented and loyal people who we consider a part of our family. The support given by every single one of our employees during this already challenging time has been amazing and has once again highlighted the strength and dedication of our team.

Following this, it felt an appropriate time to introduce some changes to the UK Senior Management structure that have been in development for a few years, allowing us to move ahead and get business focused on evolving for the future.

We are pleased to announce that Nick Askew is stepping into the role of Head of Corporate Events and will have overall responsibility for CT UK’s corporate projects.

Matt Eve is now our new Commercial Director, focusing on the development and alignment of sales and marketing across CT.

Dan Burgess has moved into our creative services division as Head of Creative Services and Will Case is taking on the role of Director of Innovation, continuing to develop strategies and techniques that bring our client’s ideas closer to our services and technology.

We are pleased to see on-site event work picking up in selected markets as well as virtual and remote production that we moved into heavily over the spring and summer continuing to progress. Some really hard and challenging work has been done here over the past months where our ability to innovate and offer new solutions has been accelerated to accommodate a quickly evolving and ever-changing landscape.” – Mark Elliott, Managing Director CT UK.
